Artist's Statement

Sculpting is my passion.   I cannot remember when my time wasn’t spent drawing or sculpting something, and my decision to become an artist seems now to have been inevitible and pre-ordained.  My favorite subjects are birds and wildlife, although people and their pets are also fun to portray!  There is something about working in three dimensions that feeds my creative soul.

"Although bronze is my primary medium, stone carving has recently become another outlet for my creative energy.  I believe sculpting is awe-inspiring from start to finish, and sharing my enthusiasm for the process with people of all ages is part of the fun."
