"Hobbled" |
Bronze, edition of 20 |
|
I love creating sculptures that tell the story of everyday activities such as this cowboy putting the hobbles on his beautiful, young mule. Cowboys still rely on well-trained horses and mules to stay put in hobbles, allowing the cowboy to work on the ground where there is nowhere to tie his mount. |

"Struttin' His Stuff" |
Bronze, edition of 20 |
|
Showing off for the girls is a universal trait, and to my eye no young male is more beautiful than a Whitetail Buck in his prime. They say you should paint (or sculpt) what you know, and ten years of raising members of the deer tribe has made sculpting them as natural for me as creating horses.
