Landscapes and wildlife of the west are my favorite subjects. I live in the foothills of Southern California's mountains and find endless inspiration here.

| The Mexican fan palm and prickly pear cactus are typical of the pale but beautiful colors found in plants native to the dry, hot climate of Southern California. I had fun painting the "negative shapes" around the palm fronds. |
