Azalea Impact
Pastel (PA)
10" x 14"
$950.00

Colors and patterns that capture my artistic excitement are the foundation of my paintings. I often begin a
composition with an underpainting of colors that are different than the final color scheme. I strive to create depth
and visual interest by using this layering technique in both my pastels and oils. Themes range from landscapes
to figurative subjects including people and wildlife.
I frequently study the landscape and the effects of lighting on the colors and patterns in my surroundings. My
goal is to continuously improve the translation of my observations into my artwork
