If there is one general theme that has encompasses my entire life it is animals! I am constantly inspired and
motivated to create by the natural world around me. I know that I will never run out of ideas for new work. I
enjoy observing little nuances every day that others might not notice. I also spend many hours in the field with
my camera (photography being another passion of mine) and simply watching animals: how they move, interact,
behave and live. I believe that my field observations and time spent learning the behaviors of the animals I draw
has helped me become a stronger artist able to create more believable images. Capturing a moment of an
animal's life- the feeling, mood, emotion, and atmosphere is what my artwork is all about and doing it all,
amazingly, with just scratches!
