Artist's Statement |
Expressing myself through art and the need to create has been with me
throughout my life. My style is somewhat eclectic because I love
trying sculpting in many mediums and combining them. My work ranges
from realism to stylized, but in all my work you can see a theme which
reflects the bond I feel for animals and nature which inspires me and
the recognition that nature connects us all.
Artist's Bio
I am a Colorado native and grew up on the farm my family homesteaded in
1875 when Colorado was known as Arapahoe territory. In 1988, I began
sculpting after attending a foundry sponsored seminar. Over the past
20 years I have increased my knowledge and abilities by continuing my
art education under many modern day masters of sculpture.
