Renee DiNapoli’s striking oil paintings have received critical acclaim for their high contrast, unusually intense use of color & exquisite detail. Her ability to achieve this attests to the many years of training with an Italian master as well as her studies at The Red Mountain Institute of Art in Alabama and as a visiting artist studying at The Louvre in Paris.
A former instructor at the Ringling School of Art and Design, she teaches from her studio in Sarasota, many fine institutions in the area as well as commuting to private students in the Sarasota, Tampa Bay region.
She collaborated on three paintings that were purchased by the State of Florida and placed in their permanent collection. One of her paintings was accepted into the permanent collection of the Vieques Museum of Fine Art in Puerto Rico. Her works are exhibited on a national level by many fine galleries and institutions as well as several online international galleries.
Her perspective gives the viewer a feeling of their presence in the scene. Being a realist, she feels there is no better expression than to try to capture what her artist’s eyes perceives as beauty.
