Judith considers her love, passion, and ability to create and reproduce beauty to be a truly spiritual experience. She is thankful that God has entrusted this gift to her to use and to share with others.
Judith's earliest memories are of drawing - drawing everything in sight! She began painting in oils at 8 years of age under the tutelage of an artist who observed her talent and offered to teach her. Though Judith was accepted at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia she chose rather to pursue a degree in education. She has been fortunate to continue her art training through the years working under some very gifted artists such as Anthony Rider and Shane Neal.
In 2011 she was commissioned to paint the official portrait of Colorado Governor Bill Ritter. She also was awarded the commission for a large public art project for Adams County Colorado.
She is owner and primary instructor at the Art Academy of Colorado where she teaches drawing, painting, and portraiture. Her work has been accepted in many various shows, the most recent being the Abend Gallery in Denver and the Allied Artist of America Annual Art Exhibition in New York City.
