Artist's Statement

Living in Northern rurual Arizona affords many opportunities to get reference photos. She works mostly in colored pencil and guache but also works in graphite and other mediums. She has received several awards for her work and was awarded a duck stamp throught the Province of Manitoba in 2000. Wildlife parks and zoos, rodeos and local ranches also provide inspiration for her work.
