Born in San Antonio, Margie Hildreth began painting with watercolors in 2013. Mainly a
studio painter, she also loves to paint outdoors (en plein air). Her travels have afforded
her the opportunity to paint in Telluride, CO, Port Angeles, WA and an amazing trip that
had her painting for ten days in the Grand Canyon.
An award winning artist, she was recently juried into the prestigious Women Artists of
the West. She is also a member of the Texas Watercolor Society, the Laguna Plein Air
Painters Association, the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor
Her work is included in the Forest and Ocean Gallery, Laguna Beach, CA, the McBride
Gallery, Annapolis, MD and the San Antonio Art League and Museum, San Antonio, TX.
