"Something magical happens when a painting begins to draw me into its presence. I want the viewers of my art to feel like they too are experiencing their own presence in the painting. My experience is that I am there in that time and place."

Look to the East Wind

"Look to the East Wind"

Watercolor

In the 1800’s the East brought immigrants in covered wagons traveling across the Great Plains into Indian lands.  I also traveled westward and back into the history in my imagination.  “Look to the East Wind” has been published in Art of the West Magazine and exhibited at the Inaugural Oil Painters of America Salon Show in 2013. It is framed in a beautiful western carved distressed frame with a gold liner.
