Eileen was born in the beautiful Inyan Kara area of the Black Hills in Wyoming. She left for seventeen
years to pursue an education and short career as an architect. Then the magic of Wyoming called
her back. She now lives in the house that she drew her first painting in as a child. Eileen lives with
her husband, Tom and two of their three kids (Her oldest child is married) on the family ranch
between Sundance and Upton, Wyoming. Much of her inspiration comes from living
and loving on a working ranch in Wyoming. She also enjoys creating still life paintings from the
beautiful flower gardens that she has access to.
Eileen's medium of choice is colored pencil. "I love the precision that colored pencils give me and I
sorely dislike cleaning paint brushes" states the artist. She has won numerous and prestigious
awards in her short career. |
