Barbara is a full-time painter and teacher. Inspired by the landscape, she creates colorful paintings that interpret the diverse landscape of Southern California. Barbara travels the back roads with her CJ-5 Jeep to uncover the hidden story of the landscape and native customs. This discovery is her path to another visual story told on watercolor paper. Twenty years of painting, numerous awards, and a driving passion to experience color movement on paper, encourages Barbara to keep painting and teaching. She participates in workshops to hone her skills and brings to the classroom the excitement of different techniques and the courage to paint. |
