Linda Wallace began painting about 26 years ago. She began using oils and gradually progressed to pastels, and more lately, colored pencil and acrylics. She has attended many classes and workshops, but is primarily self-taught.
Linda has been exhibiting in juried shows for the past 16 years and has won many awards. "Wildlife and animals are a recurring theme in my paintings, and their preservation is an important part of my personal life. I also love to paint people, and less frequently, landscapes. I take many photos of my subjects and their environment, which I take back to the studio with me to paint. I love to paint and hope to for many years to come." |
