Artist's Statement

Janet's love of nature and wildlife are reflected in her paintings. Of the two mediums she uses, colored pencil is her favorite. Using multiple layers of color, she is able to achieve depth and realism in her work. Her work is truly unique as the techniques she uses give a very painterly quality to each piece.
