Artist's Statement

Deborah McAllister was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended high school in Phoenix, Arizona.

After graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art, she worked in the advertising industry before devoting herself to painting and raising a family. She has studied painting with instructors such as Zoltan Szabo, Tony Couch and Don Sahli.

Her current work is inspired by the landscape, and she especially enjoys plein air painting.
