A masters graduate of the Royal College of Art who has also studied with David Hockney, Liz Reday has focused on plein air landscapes of Southern California, its coast and offshore islands. She has exhibited in Japan (six solo shows), England and the United States.

"Jaca - Angled"

Of the many jacarandas I have painted, this was the only one on the edge of water. This is a studio painting done from 16" X 20" study painted on the spot at the Los Angeles Arboretum, one of my favorite places.

"Boat on Nord"

This was a boat that I painted one very windy day on the north side of Lido Isle, in Newport Beach. It looked very much like the sailboat my sister and I sailed with my father.
