Artist's Statement

Raised on a ranch near Grants Pass, Oregon, I have a long-standing love for the beauty of nature and it's inhabitants. this admiration is reflected in the variety of subject matter found in my work which includes landscapes, seascapes, florals and portraits. My primary love is western art and it features contemporary and nostalgic scenes that most often include my favorite animal, the horse.

I am skilled in the use of oil, pastel, charcoal and watercolor and I paint commissions using any of these mediums.
