B.R. Gates has had work exhibited at the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., the Lincoln Center in New York. She has also exhibited in the Phippen Museum, the Reagan Library and Museum, the Gilcrease Museum and was a “Special Guest of Honor” at the Sun-Yet-Sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan and hangs in their permanent collection. International Art Magazine chose her painting “Rocky Mountain Stream” for their book, “How Did You Paint That?” She is an official U.S. Coast Guard Artist.
Some of her recent awards include, “2nd Place in Oils & Acrylics” at the Richardson Civic Art Center, Richardson, TX and the “Mary Ann Sumner Award”, at the Red River Valley International Juried Exhibition in Vernon, Texas.
Ms. Gates is also a signature member of OPA, AAWA, CLWAC and others.
