Cecy Turner is also a Signature Member of National Watercolor Society, Southwestern Watercolor Society, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Outdoor Painters Society and Plein Air Artists Colorado, as well as a Fellow in the American Artists professional League.
Her work has been selected several times to be in the Top 100 of Arts for the Parks and Paint the Parks.Her paintings have been featured in Watercolor Artist Magazine, American Art Collector, American Artist Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine and the book, The Best of Flower Painting. Cecy paints and teaches both oil and watercolor, and she resides in Dallas, Texas, and Estes Park, Colorado.

These aspens were painted from photos I took at Mueller State Park near Divide, Colorado, where we take our motor home for a weekend every fall. I love the fall aspens there, and I wanted to capture their trunks really close-up on this one. |
