Faye Taylor Wins Two National Awards
Prineville artist, Faye Taylor, has recently been recognized
in two different shows on a national scale for her watercolor
entitled "Storm Rider" and her oil painting entitled "A
Kindly Hand."
"A Kindly Hand" earned a 6th place award from Art
Horse Magazine's EX ARTE EQUINUS National competition. This
piece will be published in the February 2008 issue of Art Horse
Magazine and will also be published in a coffee table book
in early 2008.
"Gaining National recognition is not easy in the fine
art arena, especially the western genre," states Taylor. "I'm
so grateful to live where real cowboys still rope, ride and
shoot."
